Djs and Performers

davidDewey

  • Progressive, Psytech | EvoWerx | Seattle

davidDewey was banished from his home planet onto a passing meteorite. His crime?

    ROCKING TOO HARD

While aimlessly drifting the cosmos, scattered radio warbles and strange errant snare crashes sifted into his cranial transceiver. Several millennia later, dD realized the broadcasts were coming from a tiny blue blip of a planet just four light years away.

Decades have passed since he crash-landed in the Pacific Ocean where he was rescued with a warm welcome by the Seattle Underground.....who just happened to be raging aboard an abandoned deep sea-oil platform. dD had found planet Earth and was instantly inspired by this new form of rocking. He immediately set off on what would become the greatest journey in the history....of ever.

Since that historic day, davidDewey has mastered the control of human emotion through his presentation of auditory bliss. Often to be found inspiring celebration and dancing among the trees, deep in the high desert, or just about anywhere the vibe calls. dD will carry on with his psychedelic mind-altering rocking, until one day, he is banished again.

Dizzy Dave

  • House, Breaks, Riddim | EvoWerx | Spokane

This group of rude boys played shows all over the Northwest highlighted by Bumbershoot and Warped Tour 97.  It wasn't until The Investigators broke up in 1997 that Dizzy's stage withdrawals forced him into a violent upward spiral into event production and turntablism.  Dizzy had become addicted to making people dance. In the early 2000s under the name DizzyTribe, Dave began focusing his energy on spinning house music and hosting events and weeklies at venues all over Seattle such as Rock Candy, The Superhighway, and NAF studios.  In Dizzy's years as a DJ, he has held residencies in Bellingham, Seattle, Tacoma, and Delray Beach Florida. In Tacoma in 2009 Dizzy Dave was a founding member of South Sound Collective, producing element-themed art and music events Playing With Fire, Drop of Water, and Fresh Air.

More recently Diz has been involved with the Burning Man community and art car projects as part of Ghost Frequencies, touring with the mutant vehicles to several Burns and Insomniac Events such as EDC Las Vegas, New York, and Brazil and DJing at several them camps on the playa.
